Made It On The Team

Updated: Dec 15, 2018

There are people who quit when things in their lives seem hard or impossible. They’ll give up on dreams and take a less appealing route just because it’s easier. I’m not like those people.

My family have never supported my dreams of being a professional football player, nor my love of the NFL. In fact it was something of a taboo subject in the family home and I was left feeling like an outsider.

“You’re too fragile! They’d break you,” my doting mother would say.

“Football’s for meatheads, not intelligent young men like yourself,” my stern father reprimanded whenever I dared mention the sport at the dinner table.

“Why would you want to throw your life away on some silly dream?” my obnoxious older sister asked, wrinkling her nose in disgust when I told her how far I was willing to go to achieve my dreams.

You see, I told you that I’m not like those people who quit when things get tough. My family would never support my dreams to go to college and play football, hopefully to get scouted and join a professional team afterwards. No matter what they said though, I was determined to take that path in my life and I wasn’t afraid to cross some lines to get there.

Now black magic isn’t exactly a line many are willing to cross, especially as newbies to the craft altogether, but when you’re as driven as I am then you don’t even think twice. It was just the quickest method to get me on the path I wanted to be on in life, even if it promised consequences. A quick possession spell would do the trick - it was really that simple!

Just take a look at me now.

Do I look like a quitter to you? Hell no I don’t! I’m a winner with absolutely everything going my way. I’ve got a muscular body, gorgeous face and some serious skills out on the football pitch. In fact I’d go as far as to say that I’m coach’s favorite player, if his approving smile and slaps on the ass are anything to go by. Perhaps there’s even more to the relationship than I thought at first.

As for the promised consequence… well, with my mind now in possession of this jock body, my own body was left completely empty. My family placed their comatose son under hospital watch, waiting for him to awaken from his slumber. Little do they know that I have no intentions of going back to the small-time life they’d have me life. I know who I am and what I’m going to do with my life and like hell am I taking any more steps in the wrong direction!
